Abstract submission rules!

  Abstracts can be submitted under any of the following topics:

  
  

  Athletes:
  
  - Muscle & Tendon
  - Bone & Joint
  - Cartilage repair
  - Ligament injury
  - Nutrition
  - Cardiology
  - Gene, Stem Cells

   

  PRESENTATION TYPES
  
  a) Oral presentations (10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions)
  
  b) Poster presentations (5 minutes for presentation and 2 minutes for questions)
  
  c) Workshops (60 minutes)

   

  Congress Language
  
  English, no simultaneous interpreter will be available.

   

  Abstract Submission/ General Information
  
  1. Please read carefully and follow the instructions, as incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

  2. The language of the congress is English; therefore, all abstracts must be in English.

  3. The abstract submission deadline expires on December 15, 2012.

  4. Abstracts for the 3rd E.C.O.S.E.P. Congress should be submitted electronically as word files by e-mail or through the Congress website. Facsimile transmitted abstracts or send by postal mail will not be accepted.

  5. In order to submit an abstract, at least the presenting author has to be registered to the Congress.

  6. An author may only present one paper on each presentation type. However, anyone maybe listed as co-author on multiple papers.

  7. Abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the 3. E. C.O.S.E.P. Congress who will decide whether the paper will be accepted as an oral or poster presentation.

  8. Presenting authors will be informed about the status of their abstract (accepted / rejected), date and time of presentation latest on January 15, 2013.

  9. The abstracts of the lectures, oral presentations and posters will be published at the abstract book and the BJSM Issue after the congress.

   

  Abstract Format
  
  Please download the structured abstract form from our congress homepage and complete with a maximum of 300 words consisting of:

  • Name of the presenting author and Co-authors
  • Institution and contact details
  • Study design
  • Title
  • Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • References
  
  
  

  Notification of receipt of paper

  You will be notified within 15 days that your abstract has been received. If you do not receive confirmation within this time please resend your form electronically to nauck@smi-frankfurt.de
